Learning to Code in Atlanta?

Over the past five years, the coding bootcamp industry has exploded across the globe and especially in Atlanta.  According to Course Report, an independent resource and coding bootcamp directory, the number of individuals graduating from a coding bootcamp program grew from ~2,000 in 2013 to ~23,000 by the end of 2017 (see image below or click here for the full report).

Atlanta is one of the top 10 cities for coding bootcamps and plays a big role within the coding bootcamp industry. Here is an up-to-date list of programs currently available in the city.

DigitalCrafts - DigitalCrafts offers full- and part-time coding bootcamp programs covering full-stack software development. DigitalCrafts' program is unique because of its curriculum and program length, which encompasses Python, JavaScript, React, Node.js, Express and PostgreSQL over a 16- or 24-week course. In addition, DigitalCrafts designs, builds, and executes custom corporate training programs depending on their client's needs.

Code Career Academy - Located in Lawrenceville, Code Career Academy offers a variety of program formats including self-paced, part-time, and full-time. Code Career Academy's curriculum focuses on front-end development and .NET/C#.

General Assembly - General Assembly offers full- and part-time classes covering topics like UI/UX Design, Data Science, Product Management, Digital Marketing, and Web Development.

Tech Talent South - Tech Talent South offers full- and part-time courses for beginners looking to dive into full-stack web development.

Thinkful - Headquartered in New York, Thinkful offers remote-only learning where students can work 1-on-1 with a mentor while working through an online curriculum.

Trilogy Education at Georgia Tech - Trilogy provides coding bootcamp experiences on behalf of universities. Trilogy has partnerships with 25+ colleges across the United States and offers Data Analytics, UX/UI, and Web Development courses.

Software Guild at the University of Georgia - Similar to Trilogy, Software Guild provides coding bootcamp experiences on behalf of universities. Software Guild's curriculum in Atlanta focuses primarily on .NET/C#.
