DigitalCrafts Launches in Seattle in Partnership with Western Washington University

I am excited to announce that we have partnered with Western Washington University to launch our coding bootcamps programs to the Seattle community. The technology field is a rapidly growing one, and DigitalCrafts' software development bootcamps will help students in the Seattle area quickly get up to speed in learning the skills today’s employers demand. Students can expect a challenging and rewarding educational experience, with a focus on hands-on collaboration, small class sizes and support as you launch your career in technology.

What You’ll Learn

In all of our bootcamps, you will learn:

  • Programming fundamentals

  • Front-end web development

  • Back-end web development

  • Advanced front-end frameworks

  • How to create a portfolio and resume that attracts employers, along with interview skills to help you land the job

We are offering three class options to the WWU community:

Full Stack Flex Program (Part-time, Remote with Live Instruction)

Learn online in this part-time class, taught live by our instructors. Classes are held at night and on weekends, making it a great fit for those looking to switch careers or deepen their existing skillset while working full time or meeting other commitments during traditional business hours. Due to COVID-19, this class will be taught remotely. That said, students in the Seattle area will have access to a classroom for the ability to work with peers and teaching assistants.

  • Dates: 9/29/20—4/15/21

  • Schedule: Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. (Pacific Time)

  • Duration: 26 weeks

  • Taught online in real-time via Zoom

  • Students who live in Seattle will have the ability to work on campus if desired

  • Save $250 when you enroll by Aug. 4

Career Support During Class and Beyond

Students will also complete several days of career prep, ensuring each student is well equipped to enter the job market. Our dedicated Student Success team is available to provide career readiness support through resume review, portfolio guidance, mock technical interviews and more.

Financing & Scholarships Available

Students in this program have the option to pay tuition upfront or financing with one of our tuition partners. We also offer a number of financing options and scholarships to make the program more accessible, and you may use other options for financing your tuition as well.

Finance your tuition over 3-5 years: Skills Fund offers affordable and flexible loan options that can cover 100% of tuition as well as additional funding towards living expenses.

Affordable installment plans for Flex bootcamps: This option, available to our Flex students, allows you to spread tuition out over several payments throughout the 26 weeks of your bootcamp.

Scholarships for women + WWU students, alumni, faculty & staff: DigitalCrafts automatically awards scholarships to all women who attend our programs. We will also be offering a $1,000 scholarship to all WWU students, alumni and faculty.

None of our scholarships require a separate application, so feel free to apply when you’re ready! Following that, your enrollment coordinator will work behind the scenes to confirm eligibility for the WWU-specific scholarships and apply them on your behalf.

This course is open to the general public and not restricted to WWU students.
