DigitalCrafts Houston is growing, and we'd like to take a moment to introduce you to some of our amazing team here.
Haley Hester: Enrollment Coordinator
If you're applying for our botocamps, Haley will be your first contact as she assists you through the admissions process. Haley is a Houston native who loves all of the great food, drinks and entertainment Houston has to offer. Prior to DigitalCrafts, Haley worked in media and marketing. She even enrolled in a coding bootcamp to sharpen her skills! As a bootcamp alum herself, she has the empathy, understanding, and knowledge to inform students about the bootcamp experience and the career options available to graduates.
Jason Ephraim: Campus Director
As Campus Director, Jason will make sure that your experience at DigitalCrafts is a great one. Jason has been a part of the DigitalCrafts team for more than three years and has overseen the campus' growth. He's also often hard at work building relationships with members of the Houston tech community to better serve our Houston students. Jason is inspired by the instructor team (read about them below!) and plans on taking DigitalCrafts' course soon.
Veronica Lino: Immersive Instructor
Veronica comes to DigitalCrafts with more than 10 years of development experience. Before becoming a developer, Veronica worked as an aerospace engineer at NASA, where she developed simulation software for shuttle missions and the Orion program. Today, she teaches our Immersive bootcamps as well as custom courses for clients.
Mohammad Azam: Immersive Instructor
Azam is no stranger to teaching coding bootcamps. Prior to joining DigitalCrafts, he taught coding classes at another bootcamp for years. He has also been a lead mobile developer for Blinds.com in Houston. An expert in iOS and web development, his development resume boasts large firms like AIG, Baker Hughes, and Schlumberger, and you can find additional courses of his on Udemy.
Josh Medeski: Immersive Instructor
Josh has been building websites professionally for almost a decade. Before DigitalCrafts, he was the team lead for Starfish Technologies. He has always had a passion for teaching and has been involved with MakerSquare, Girl Develop It, and ngHouston. Josh also has a background in theater, graphic design, music, magic and art (just to name a few!). In his spare time, you’ll find him watching movies, listening to vinyl, reading books, or discovering new restaurants. Did someone say tacos?
Amanda Shih: Flex Instructor
Chris Oakman: Flex Instructor
Chris has been writing web applications for more than a decade, with a focus on front-end design and development. He has worked at several startups, as well as cPanel, PROS and Cisco Systems. In short, he's passionate about development and teaching, and he's an ace behind the podium.
