Inclusion and Diversity: Announcing The Curtis Jenkins Scholarship

We strive to make technology accessible to everyone no matter the age, educational background or demographic. To help improve diversity in tech, we're proud to announce the Curtis Jenkins Scholarship, available for African American students learning web development at DigitalCrafts.

Curtis enrolled in our Feb 2016 cohort, and is now a software engineer at Chick-fil-A. He was always one of the first to help his fellow classmates, and pursuant with his generosity in class, he is personally offering a $1,000 scholarship to assist African Americans with tuition.

Requirements and How to Apply

The Jenkins scholarship is available to African American students attending an Immersive or Flex bootcamp in Atlanta. After first applying for a bootcamp and receiving an acceptance letter, students can then apply for the Jenkins scholarship.

As part of your application, you will be asked to submit a summary of your career goals. Whether you want to become a software developer, an engineering team learn or an entrepreneur, we want to hear about it!

The scholarship will be awarded after the recipient successfully graduates from their program, and may be combined with other scholarships.
