Learning Computer Science in Houston with Jason Awbrey

One of the things that makes DigitalCrafts so unique is its inclusion of an elective program open to current students and alumni. These electives allow students to supplement their time in our Web Development program, or to return to the school after graduation to add more advanced or supporting skills to their repertoire.

The elective subject rotates periodically. In the past, the course has covered subjects such as user experience and user design, iOS development, and, our most requested, Computer Science fundamentals and code challenges.

We are pleased to announce that Jason Awbrey has accepted the role of instructor for our first Houston elective, which will cover the fundamental concepts of Computer Science and technical interview skills.

Jason comes to DigitalCrafts with 20 years of experience and a Computer Engineering degree from Texas A&M University -- Whoop!

Over the next seven weeks, Jason will be teaching skills such as programming with algorithms, data structures, and whiteboarding to his class of current students and returning alumni.
