Students will participate in hands-on practice and project-based learning designed to advance their knowledge in cybersecurity. The online cybersecurity program offered for students is suitable for beginning students as well as more advanced students in cybersecurity.
Our online cybersecurity bootcamp program allows students to earn 4.5 quarter credit hours for each course completed. Students can receive up to 27 quarter credit hours upon successful completion of their cybersecurity bootcamp program.
Students can choose a pace of the program that best suits their needs. Students who want to complete their program more quickly can choose to take two courses at a time. Students who prefer a slower pace can either alternate between taking one and two courses at a time, or elect to take just one course at a time.
Regardless of their pace, all students receive a voucher for one CompTIA exam upon successful completion of the online cybersecurity bootcamp program. This nonrenewable voucher is good for one year after program completion and can be used to take a CompTIA exam of the student’s choosing.*

IT Fundamentals for Cybersecurity
You will be introduced to information technology fundamentals as they apply to cybersecurity. Topics include computer hardware, software, configuration, and management of IT systems. The central focus of the course is the security of information technology components, systems, and communications.
Networking Fundamentals
You will study computer network hardware, software, connectivity methods, and protocols. Topics include security vulnerabilities and countermeasures. You will explore how to analyze networking solutions and design secure networked systems.
